When was the last time Wim Hof cried? | #AskWim
Hi folks!
Q&A.
‘Ask Wim’
Right over here.
Wim here.
Ask there.
When did I last cry in front of another person?
That was in December.
But many times I've been crying.
I let my emotions come up
Many times
and they come and tears are beautiful.
Yesterday I had a three hour interview
and...
we talked about emotions.
Emotions stay in all the life,
only the burden.
If you don't process them...
they become... they will block you
and then you become rigid,
I remember a person who...
I just had met through the BBC
and she couldn't cry for 30 years
like not really cry,
always being ‘Victorian style’
And then she cried during the breathing.
And she saw her...
trauma from when she lost her brother
when he 16 years told he died of a heart attack.
I mean...
I cried...
I'm letting it go
and it is able to ascend many times,
But in presence of...
Jeff Pope, who wrote the screenplay for my upcoming feature film.
He dove into my psyche,
and what he wrote,
made me cry, but also him.
We cried together
and it was amazing.
It was recognition,
Emotions.
Beautiful.
If a crystal ball would be able to tell me something about my past, present or future...
what would that be?
Wow
I would have,
you know, a couple of questions.
Of course.
“What could I have done in the past that would have improved my here and now?”
Because I'm a man on the mission,
I always like to know what could have been done better,
because in the present moment, I would then...
through that observation,
being able to re-adjust.
So I would ask that crystal ball
“What has happened in the past...”
“...that I CAN rehabilitate here in the present...”
“...to ensure a better future?
A man on the mission is always searching for those things.
so that is what I would ask the crystal ball.
If I would die in one year
Would I change the course of my life or mentality?
my mind,
my everything
not that much.
I'm always ready to die,
but even more ready to live.
How do I feel about my relationship with my mother?
My mother is like Mother Nature.
I do not adore her,
I love her.
She is gone.
But she's here.
She is in me. In my memory and my being
and...
the way nature Mother Nature works,
is that the mother gave birth to you,
And then she goes.
And you stay behind?
No...
She is paving the way
She will be there when I go.
She will be there.
I love my mother.
If I would die this evening, what would I regret the most not having said to someone?
And what would that be?
Not that much...
I've been a good person. and I am a good person.
I love everybody.
I think I am leaving everybody well behind.
It's not ‘behind’.
They are where they should be.
There is nothing hidden in me.
It's all out
If I would die, then I just keep on living.
My soul continues to live.
So that's it.
But for those who stay ‘behind’,
or ‘behind’
on this earth
Who is better off?
You never know.
For example, my little kid.
But he knows I love him.
And my partner knows.
And even the cameraman right now,
he knows I love him
It’s all ok.
How close are you to your family?
Very, very close.
But also with my spiritual brothers and sister.
Very, very close.
when I am together with people
who are very lovable and open,
and with a great passion for life,
those are my spiritual brothers.
It's really great sharing.
And to be with these people
Right now my family is huge.
I have millions of brothers and sisters.
They all love me,
and I love them back.
