Do This to Learn The Muscle Up In 30 Days
What's up guys, it’s Yannick from Calisthenics Family
We’re in the middle of spring here
and how cool would it be
to unlock your first muscle up just before summer
so you can perform them anywhere you want.
That’s why in this video I am going to show you
how to unlock the muscle up in just 30 days.
So the requirements of this routine are 6-8 pullups
if you don’t meet these requirements yet
you should increase them first.
We have recently made a video
on how to increase your pullups fast,
I will add the link in the description.
So when we look back to our own muscle up journey
and the ones from our members online
and the members here in the gym
we are 100% sure that it’s possible
to unlock the muscle up in 30 days
if you are able to do 8 pullups at this moment.
The strength is there
and it’s only a matter of specific technique practice
to hardwire the muscle up movement.
In this 30 day routine we’re going to cycle
between three 10-day routines,
In every cycle you will work on 6 exercises
focussing on technique,
explosiveness,
push, pull and core strength,
all necessary to unlock the muscle up.
Each cycle contains 5 training days and 5 rest days
to make sure that we get enough recovery.
Let’s get straight into the first 10-day cycle,

So from day 1 to 10 you should do the following workout,
where you take 1 rest day in between training days
let’s have a look at the exercises.
So this is an overview of the workout of the first cycle,
make sure to take a screenshot to take it with you.
After finishing the first 10 day cycle
you should be ready to move on to the second cycle.
where we’re going to improve the muscle up technique even more.
So here are the exercises of the second cycle:
So that completes the second routine!
Here’s an overview of the full 10 day cycle.
So by now you should be able
to do a few muscle ups with a resistance band.
Now, let’s move to the last 10 day cycle
where you are going to attempt
your first muscle up without resistance band
and work on specific strength
to get yourself on top of the bar without help
So here are the 6 exercises of the third cycle:
So after doing 5 workouts of this last routine
you should be able to unlock your first muscle up!
Of course it can vary from person to person
how long it exactly takes, that all depends on your starting level.
So if you didn’t make it yet, don’t worry,
just repeat the third cycle until you got your first muscle up!
