Do this Everyday to Learn the Handstand in 30 Days
What’s up guys. It’s Michael from Calisthenics Family.
So the sun is shining, the spring season is just started
and it’s the perfect time to work on new goals
Therefore, in this video we will show you a complete guide
to unlock the handstand in 30 days.
This 30-Day Handstand Challenge is for every beginner
with no experience in handstand training,
but also for people that already got a background in strength training.
So when we look back to our own handstand journey,
we can definitely say that it’s achievable
to learn just a short 5-10 sec handstand in 30 days.
It all comes down to a LOT of practice
at least, that’s how we, and our clients got the handstand super fast.
With only 1 or 2 sessions per week,
it will probably take you a few months to unlock the handstand
but with 5 to 6 short sessions per week,
you can get it in 1 month.
So this challenge consist of 3 different cycles.
Every 10 day cycle you will work and improve in 5 major areas:
1. Shoulder Mobility
2. Handstand Technique
3. Scapula stability
4. Shoulder strength
5. Core strength
All elements that are super important to learn the handstand
Every cycle you will work towards specific goals in these areas
before you move on to the next cycle.
So let’s get into the first 10 day cycle,
but first, make sure to watch this guide all the way to the end
for our weekly give-away

So within the first 10 days,
every day you will work on the following exercises:
So this is what the first 10 day routine looks like.
Take a screenshot and repeat this workout 9 days straight
and take 1 day rest.
After finishing the first 10 day cycle
you should be ready to move on to the second cycle.
In this cycle we work on the same areas,
but we’ll increase the difficulty with each exercise.
So from day 10 to 20 you should do the following routine
So that completes the second routine.
Again take a screenshot and follow this routine for 9 days straight
and take 1 day off before moving on to the next and last cycle
where you’ll unlock the handstand itself!
So from day 20 to 30 you should follow this routine:
So after consistently following this last routine,
you should be able to perform at least a 5 second free handstand!
But of course, if you don’t manage to achieve the exercise goals
for example in the first or second phase
you can repeat the cycle for another 10 days
before moving on to the next phase.
