Unstoppable Forces! 18 Years old Powerlifting Phenom Meets Me.
A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet Cristian
And I wanted to show you his strength and Aesthetic.
He is strong, aesthetic but most importantly super young!
How old are you?
I'm 18 years old.
So, he is 18 years old and he is already a beast
How long have you been training?
I have been training since the end of 2018
I have started when I was 13-14 years old
How did you get into training? Have you watched someone on Youtube?
Like many guys I have seen some of your videos, and then I have started going to the gym
I have started with bodybuilding,
but compared to my friends my strength was improving much faster than them,
So I have understood that I was much more talented in Powerlifting,
and my physique was getting better too at the same time.
I have always been self-taught, from when I started until 5 months ago
Everything I know about working out I have studied myself by researching online
What about the first few months of training?
Like many in the world I have started going to the gym with my friends,
then most of them didn't continue working out, but I kept going
Because I'm passionate about it
About the first few months I was getting info from the videos of the creators like you and many others
Few years ago Youtube Fitness Italia was still in its early stages
Then I have discovered Danny Lazzarin, he quickly became one of my main Italian inspiration
I used to get a lot of information from YouTube/Internet, but I have always checked that everything I read was correct
I have also done a lot of test by myself for different months
Even though my genetic is good for Bodybuilding I have never thought of competing
I'm actually bulking to get stronger in powerlifting, a few months back I was 4kgs less,
Now I'm not shredded like a few months ago, but I really needed this bulk because I have 2 Powerlifting competitions soon.
Obviously the more I weight the stronger I'll be
My body fat is a little higher now, but this is it, it's not a problem even if I'm not cut like before,
Anyway crazy physique
Cristian: Maybe too shredded for this sport Andrea: For a Powerlifter you are almost too shredded
So you have started with bodybuilding and then you have changed to Powerlifting?
I have started getting serious about powerlifting 5 months ago. Andrea: Crazy strength.
I have always trained Bench Press and Squat even in my bodybuilding workouts,
but now I'm focusing much more on the 3 big lifts, the deadlift is definitely my favorite exercise
I didn't train much Deadlift in the previous years, because I was always tired,
probably my bodybuilding workout program was too harsh on my body
As soon as I have started with powerlifting my deadlift went from 250kgs (550lbs) to 300kgs (660lbs)
from what I have seen you have worked a lot on the technique
Working on the technique of the 3 lifts helped me a lot
I'm now injury free, I used to have a lot of knees and elbows/wrists pain, now I'm feeling great
all the pain I had on my knees/wrists disappeared as soon as my technique improved
Also my strenght increased drastically
I have discovered that my body type is great for the Deadlift
Maybe I don't have the best levers for Bench press and Squats, but this is another topic, maybe we can talk about it in another video

I don't consider myself a creator,

Cri: I don't feel forced, I'm just a little bit shy
You are strong, aesthetic and super young, you can do great things in the next years
I would like to break some powerlifting national records in the upcoming years
Hopefully I can break some records during the competition of November
