Una giornata con me | Calisthenics + Pranzo + Pilates
I was getting ready for the gym and I have noticed that it’s been a while since my last “a day in the life”.
So I have set my light and took my phone to record a little bit, even though I’m late for my calisthenics session.
It’s 10:00 am, usually at this time I’m already working out.
I did my breakfast a couple of hours ago and took my daily vitamins with it.
Pre-workout formula already finished, so let’s go to the gym.
I need 30-40 minutes for warming up, then I’ll do 60-90 minutes of strengthening exercises and I’ll finish the session with 30 minutes of cool down.
Nothing eventful, but that’s my daily routine.
I’m going to start my warm up soon,
Here you can see all the necessary tools to release the tension of my muscles,
Then I’m going to do some joints circles, some aerobic exercises etc.
you can see my full warm up routine on my channel (Click on the appropriate tab on this video)
This is my body before working out.
Let’s see if you can notice some improvements (pump) towards the end of the session.
Note the tank top King of the Bars,
Old school calisthenics athletes will remember this famous tournament.
This is from 2016, I don’t usually wear it, because it’s like a “relic” to me.
I have found this tank top in the dusty recesses of my home.
It's already been 7 years…wow…
1st set: Leg Raises, then some toes to bar.
Visit www.andrealarosa.fit
You’ll find my core calisthenics circuits, and also the workout programs with my favorite strengthening exercises.
Probably you can’t notice it, but I’m currently training legs again.
Nothing crazy, just one bodyweight session per week.
I’m proud of it,
maybe in 2024-2025 I’ll finally focus on legs.
At the moment I do really need to change my routines a little bit.
Now I’m going to the up floor to finish with a dynamic front lever exercise and some muscle ups.
I think I have decided to stop training 90° push ups and Handstand Push ups,
I don’t really need them in my routine,
I’ll probably still record them every once in a while, because it’s a cool movement to watch,
but I won’t train them anymore.
I have no interest in training movements that I don’t like anymore.
Probably a lot of you will say: “why don’t you try change sport? or do something different?”
And the answer is that I’m not interested in anything at the moment.
I know there is always something to learn or to improve,
but what’s the point of training some specific movements if you don’t enjoy it?
Back in the previous room just to see if the pump is good,
Not a crazy session today, but that’s it, this is my body right after a workout with not much rest between sets.
Cool down now, then Lunch and back in the gym for some pilates.
I forgot my umbrellas!
Pasta + beans, a banana…
This thing…
And last my daily shake with some vitamins.
Back in the gym,
I’ll leave just a few pilates clips with the voiceover of Barbara
She will quickly explain what we usually work on during the lesson.
I’ll probably end the video right after the pilates session, so let me know with a comment if you’d like more similar videos

Hello everyone, with the reformer we can work on different things like
Mobility, flexibility, and especially we can improve the performance by working on the core,
A good core is important to prevent and treat back pain.
So the final goal changes depending on the person.
Today with Andrea we opted for a total body class
It was a “muscular” session,
It may appear easy, but we have different types of resistance to move during the exercises.
Andrea: This type of work is very similar to the gymnastic rings one, since we are using a pulley
Barbara: Yes definitely.
Thank you Barbara for the help, See you all soon!
