my name is Charlotte jinu I am 20 years

old and I'm from Sydney

I've been dancing since the age of five

learning Bollywood hip hop and South

Indian Street dance which is called kutu

Dance you just turn the light bulb

the song I'm singing for my blind

audition is lean on by Major Lazer and

DJ Snake

showing the coaches my originality is

definitely something important to me so

I want to create like my own Indian

classical twist to it I'm going to be

adding a bit of Indian classical rims

which is basically like scales to be

more versatile and do something that not

everyone can do

artists walking it's very intimidating

but I'm doing it because I do want to

show what I'm capable of

I want to turn a chair so badly

oh my goodness so I turned around

instantly when I heard stylistically

what you did at the top

um I just thought that was so cool

because you know it had that had that

Indian flavor your family is from India

from Southern India South India well I

am in love with the Indian culture the

food is incredible the music's

incredible the dancing is incredible uh

I was curious

if you could show me a couple of moves

like

give me something you think I can digest

you know I I want to learn something

because I feel like this is such an

opportunity it's not every day you know

that I meet a a Indian princess so come

on show me some

fun introducing different worlds and

like meshing them together yeah sounds

fan not just for the culture but I feel

like your voice your tone I didn't turn

in the beginning

because I was thinking okay how's this

song going to show of her vocal ability

but then when you gave me those scales

at the end I was like there she is you

know and that's when I knew okay this

person is an artist yeah so I would love

you to come on team Rita thank you so

much for that that was amazing thank you

Incorporated your your culture and

language I just think that's just so

wonderful to be able to experience and I

guess the only reason why I didn't turn

was I heard that you were a little bit

shaky and so I think that's kind of what

you know what didn't cut off for me but

you know you're gonna be in great hands

though great hands here

it's in all my time on the voice that

was the latest button push oh my god

look a great singer who has Indian

influence to me is great because the

scales are they're so different to any

gospel or Jazz scales that most people

who are in that genre know my my being

Indian I grew up on Bollywood movies

I've I only know one Hindi song but

I honestly would be honored to

have you on my team
