We are at the gym with Christian today to do a strengthening workout “vlog”.
Today push workout with a little bit of extra weight.
This could be a new video serie.
I’m gonna call it Calisthenics Chronicles. Yes, with this perfect English ahah
The final goal is not to hit PRs with extra weight,
The final goal of these workouts is to stay in shape and build muscles with a little bit of extra weight.
As you can hear, my elbows just cracked.

Now I’m gonna rest a couple of minutes,
just to let the blood flow back on every part of the body.
Next I’m gonna do 1 set of 90° push ups
Please notice the style of this man, huge legs and super Saiyan Hairstyle
This weight vest is 2,5kgs, we will add 7,5kgs to reach the 10kgs mark.
Let’s try 10kgs, I don’t know if the intensity is enough.

I can feel the extra weight. I can feel every extra kg.

Christian: I have never tried a 90° push up with +10kgs honestly.
If you are able to talk between sets, then you are not training hard enough. Remember this.

You know I like calisthenics, but every once in a while from now on I'll add 1 strengthening session with a little bit of extra weight.
Now we are going to destroy our upper body with some weighted dips.

Today slow reps, this is what I like to try today.
I wanna feel the tension on the muscles!
The disc is so big that I touch it a little with the triceps
Maybe that’s not the best, but I’m gonna finish my set anyway.
I feel the extra weight, especially with this tempo.
I feel it way more muscular than 80-90kgs dips with the belt.
All the weight is on your upper body
Looks like someone is pushing you back down by putting his hands on your shoulders!

The cool thing with the weighted vest is that you feel it way more on your muscles.
I feel a better activation of deltoids, chest, triceps.
Maybe because this is the 1st time I’m seriously working out with a weighted vest.
If it’s too easy just hold the position at 90° angle with your arms
I’m okay with this workout.
