1 Overlooked Back & Biceps Routine - Calisthenics Chronicles [EP.02]
Welcome guys
Today I’m going to do a Monkey routine,
But first,

I’m overtraining a bit, I haven’t felt very energetic for several weeks now,
so I have decided to train less this year,
I’ll train only if I have to record a video.
Enough talking, now I’m going to the gym, I’ll do a quick warm up and then monkey routine.
Let’s improvise a monkey routine. 1 different exercise for every bar.
I do know I’ll regret this session,
As many of you already know, I have had pain in my subscapularis for the past couple of years, so I didn’t train much at the bar.
I’m doing treatments with physiotherapists and it’s getting better, but every time I do pull exercises the pain comes back.
So the only solution is to do just a bit every once in a while.
3 ice cream makers
Then front lever hold
Then 3 front lever raises
3 Toes to bar
3 Pull ups
3 Chin ups
I feel heavy, so I won’t add much weight.
2,5 kgs +2,5 kgs = 5 kgs
Then I’ll see if I should add extra discs.

I’ll do it for a total of 4 times. And that’s it.
Later I’ll come back in the gym to record the 3rd episode of the serie.
This is the only way if I want to rest for 24 or 48 hours.
It won’t be enough to recover, but at least I can take a little break.
This routine it’s getting mental. I do already know It won’t be easy.
This is a problem, If I keep my legs straight I touch the bar in front of me.
The last 3 exercises aren't comfortable,
during pull ups and chin ups I feel I have not enough space between bar…the same for toes to bar
this routine was improvised. Obviously you can do this routine with every pull exercise you want.
It’s good to change the sessions every once in a while. To do sports it’s also to play. You should have fun with it.
Last set.
I don’t know if I’m able to do it.
Also because I can’t breath properly with the extra weight, as an old wise man once said…
